Died, at the family residence three miles southwest of Eagle Point, Friday, 
November 16, 1917, Charles Allen Pruett, aged 54 years. Mr. Pruett was a 
native of Pike county, Illinois. He leaves to mourn his loss a wife, one son, 
guy and one daughter, Mrs. Thomas Stanley, four brothers, L. A. Pruett, J. A. 
Pruett, and J. W. Pruett all of Medford, and R. H. Pruett of Yreka, 
California, and one sister who is a resident of Los Angeles. The deceased had 
been a resident of Jackson county for 44 years. Funeral services will be held 
at the home Sunday, November 18, at one o’clock. A. J. Hanby will officiate 
and interment will be in Central Point cemetery.
