POTTS PASSES, AGED 73 Andrew Jackson Potts, 73, resident of Oregon for over 30 years, and of southern Oregon for the past 3-1/2 months, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ethel Severson, on the Old Stage road, at 8:10 p.m. Friday, after a lengthy illness. Mr. Potts was born at Ransselaer, Ind., Jan. 8, 1867. He spent his early life in Indiana, and gained his education there, later being united in marriage to Miss Olive Poffenbarger in 1889. She passed away many years ago. In 1900 he married Miss Nancy Webb. She passed away six years ago. After coming to Oregon he made his residence in Portland and lived in Medford for some time, several years ago. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Severson, one son, W. E. Potts of Medford, one brother, Alva Potts, of Ransselaer, Ind., four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel of the Perl Funeral home Monday at 2:00 pm., Rev. Joseph Knotts, pastor of the First Methodist church, officiating. Interment will take place in Lincoln Memorial Park, Portland, Ore.
