Phinney of 444 South Ivy street. She died from scarlet fever. Funeral services were held at the graveside in the I.O.O.F. cemetery this afternoon at 2 o'clock, Father Francis Black officiating. Perl Funeral Home was in charge. Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, Friday, 28 Dec 1934, Applegate Items, p. 11 Applegate friends of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Phinney were grieved to hear of the death of their little daughter, Grace, which occurred Christmas day at their home in Medford. The Phinneys have resided in the Applegate district for several years and have many friends who extend their deepest sympathy to the bereaved family. Mr. Phinney is now living in this community, while Mrs. Phinney lives at Medford and sends the children to school.
