Mr. Myer, for many years a stockman in Jackson county, was the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Myer, pioneers of ‘53. He was known for his fine herds of Jersey cattle and Percheron horses for many years. He was for several years deputy assessor in the Ashland district. He is survived by his widow, Anna Myer, a son, W. C. Myer, and a daughter, Mrs. Arthur Hicks of San Jose, Cal.
