Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, Friday, 11 Jan 1918, Ashland and Vicinity, p. 5, c. 1
Funeral services of the late Clyde Murphy, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Murphy, 
who died on Wednesday, were held at the family home on the Boulevard, Friday 
afternoon, interment being in Ashland cemetery. The deceased was 11 years of 
age. He was a bright lad and will be missed by a wide circle of relatives and 
friends. Handicapped by physical infirmity, his condition was aggravated by 
the serious accident which befell him last Thanksgiving day.
