F. Stincliff, one mile west of Central Point, Ore., April 10, from infirmities of old age and from a fall received six weeks ago. She was born at Frankfort, Pennsylvania, April 19, 1840, and was 84 years, 11 months, 21 days. Her parents first emigrated to Iowa and then went by ox team to California, being one of the early pioneers of California. The trip to California by ox teams took six months to make. She was married to Augustus Moore in August, 1862, and resided in California thirty-four years. The family came to Oregon in 1894, residing at Phoenix for the past thirty-one years. Mr. Moore died in December, 1911. Mrs. Moore was highly respected and loved by her family and friends. She was a member of the Presbyterian church of Phoenix. She was the mother of four children. Augustus Moore died 1903, and one daughter, Mrs. Caroline Lehners, died in 1921, and she is survived by one son and one daughter, Fred Moore, Mt. Vernon, Washington, Mrs. L. F. Stancliff, Central Point, Ore., and ten grand children. Funeral services will be held at the Presbyterian church Sunday at 2:30 p.m., Rev. Nelson officiating. Interment in Phoenix cemetery.
