KATE M'KINNEY DIES SIX DAYS AFTER HUSBAND'S PASSING Kate McKinney, 66, well known resident of Medford where she had lived for the past 18 years, died at the family residence, 619 N. Fir street, yesterday forenoon, after a few days illness. Mrs. McKinney's death was contributed largely to be the shock received in the passing of her husband, William Lewis McKinney, who preceded her in death June 25. Mr. and Mrs. McKinney were parents of the late Captain Ive McKinney. Mrs. McKinney was born in Rone county, Tennessee, September 19, 1869. She spent her early life in Tennessee and was united in marriage to William L. McKinney at Kingstown, Tennessee November 19, 1889. They spent the first years of their married life in Tennessee, coming to Medford in 1918. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Bessie Colton, and two sons, John and Huse McKinney, all of Medford, also 5 grandchildren, Mary and Ruth McKinney of Florence, Oregon, Stanley McKinney of Manchester, California, and Marion and Ive, of Medford. Funeral services will be conducted from the Perl Funeral home Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. D. E. Millard officiating. Interment will take place in the Medford I. O. O. F. cemetery.
