Funeral services were held at the residence, on North A street, on Thursday, Rev. O. J. Glat officiating. Mr. McKay has been in poor health for several years, his trouble being cancer of the mouth. During the last couple or three years he has been unable to do any work and his faithful wife has been compelled to earn a livelihood for herself and husband-which she has done uncomplainingly. While there was a possible hope of medical or surgical relief for deceased nothing was left undone, but the life absorbing disease was firmly rooted and no cure could be effected. The sympathy of the whole community has been with the afflicted family during their years of trouble.
