M'KAY PASSES, AGED 60 Albert Edward McKay, 60, passed away Monday afternoon at his home, 1110 West Ninth. He had been in failing health for many years. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. William McKay, preceded him in death. He was born in Palmyra, N. Y., on February 9, 1880. When but a child his parents moved to Valley City, N. D. They made their home there for 25 years. He enlisted as sergeant of the 1st infantry regiment of the North Dakota National Guard, and saw active service in the battle of Manila. After the war he went back to Valley City and served several years as a United States marshal of North Dakota. In 1913 he moved to the Rogue River valley, where he had made his home since. Mr. McKay is survived by a sister, Miss Elizabeth B. McKay, Medford; two brothers, Ralph A. McKay, Medford, and William J. McKay of Orosi, Calif. There is also one niece and one nephew, Jeanne and Bruce McKay, of Medford. Date of the funeral services will be announced later by the Conger funeral parlors.
