Medford (Oregon) Mail, Friday, 31 Aug 1900, Woodville Items, p. 3, c. 2 
Isaac McGivney, a respected citizen of this place, was found dead at his home 
last Saturday evening at 7 o’clock. He had been an invalid for a number of 
years, but just previous to his death had been stronger than usual. He resided 
by himself and had died, it is supposed, about a half an hour before he was 
found by Mr. Stevens, an intimate friend. Deceased was born in Indiana sixty 
years ago and served three years in the Union army. He leaves ho relatives 
except a brother in Iowa, who has been informed of the sad occurrence.
