Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, Tuesday, 24 March 1925 
Angus McDonald, a former resident of Medford, passed away at Anderson, 
Indiana, March 23, at the age of 82 years, 8 months, 9 days. He was born in 
Scotland July 14, 1846, coming to Michigan when a young man, where he met his 
wife, now deceased, Clara Orton. To this union was born eight children: Ella 
Smedley, Dora Snyder and Archelus McDonald, residing near Grand Rapids, Mich.; 
John McDonald, Fairchild, Wisc.; Orton McDonald, Beaumont, Calif.; Theresa 
Doolittle, Las Vegas, Nevada and Orion and Meldrum McDonald of Medford. The 
deceased was a devoted member of the Church of God, and loved by all who knew 
him. Funeral services will be held at Anderson, Indiana.
