McCurdy, former resident of Medford, who was prominent in civic, university, musical and church circles. Services were held at Holman and Sons Mortuary with Dr. T. F. Hudson of Westminster Presbyterian church in charge. Mrs. McCurdy died at Emmanuel Hospital April 29. Survivors are two sons, Robert A. and John P., both of Portland, and three daughters, Mary Ellen and Phyllis in Portland and Mrs. R. H. Spencer of Oklahoma City, Okla., also one sister, Mrs. A. G. Denniston of Eugene. The deceased was born at Bedford, Ind., and came to Medford in 1913, Mr. McCurdy having been in the insurance business here until 1925. Mrs. McCurdy taught piano and also played pipe organ in several Medford churches. She was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and belonged to the Greater Medford club and American Association of University Women while in Medford.
