The many friends of Miss Myrtle McDowell were greatly shocked Tuesday morning 
to learn of her sudden death while en route to visit her sister, Mrs. Claude 
Clark at Arlington, Oregon. Much sympathy is extended to the sorrowing family. 
The funeral will be Thursday, Sept. 21, 1916, at 3:30 o'clock.
