Hattie Elsie Lucas passed away at a local hospital Monday evening after a 
short illness due to pneumonia. Mr. and Mrs. Lucas are well known residents of 
Southern Oregon, having lived in the Beagle district for the past 17 years. 
She was president of the Friendly Neighbors organization of Beagle and a 
number of other church and club groups and will be missed by a host of 
friends. She leaves her husband, E. B. Lucas and small daughter, Ina Pearl, 
both at home. She leaves other relatives, Mrs. H. B. Ellis of Beagle, O. S. 
and E. L. Blackford of Central Point, Oregon, her mother and father, Mr. and 
Mrs. Frank Iseminger of Grand Junction, Colorado, one brother, Ernest 
Iseminger of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Funeral services will be conducted from the 
Perl Funeral home Thursday, Jan. 21, at 2:00 p. m. Rev. D. E. Millard 
officiating. Interment in the Antioch cemetery.
