LITTLE CALLED BY DEATH Viola Ann Little, a pioneer resident of Oregon and of Route No. 1, Central Point, for the past three years, passed away at the home of her son, Ben Little, Thursday at 5:15 p.m., after a short illness. Mrs. Little was born in Missouri, December 5, 1858, and when a small child moved to California with her parents. They settled near Stockton, and she was later united in marriage to G. W. Little in February, 1879. They moved to Oregon in 1884, and she has lived in Jackson County almost continuously since that time. She leaves a host of friends to mourn her departure. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. W. C. Kenney, and one son, Ben Little, both of Central Point, two brothers, C. R. Moore, of Lake Creek and F. R. Moore of Hermiston, Oregon, two grandchildren and six great- grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from the Perl Funeral home Monday at 10:30 a.m., with Rev. D. E. Millard officiating. Interment will take place in Central Point cemetery.
