LEAVITT, MOTHER OF PARK CHIEF, SUCCUMBS Mrs. Annie L. Leavitt, 75, a resident of Medford for the past three and a half years, the family home being at 1317 Queen Anne avenue, passed away at a local hospital at 8:05 p.m. Monday, after a short illness. Mrs. Leavitt was born at San Andreas, Cal., July 8, 1865. She spent most of her life in California, and was united in marriage to Ernest Currier Leavitt in San Francisco, May 18, 1884. He passed away November 4, 1904. She is survived by two sons, Ernest P. Leavitt of Medford, superintendent of Crater Lake national park, and Elmer F. Leavitt of Sacramento, Cal., also two daughters, Mrs. James A. Wilkinson of Fresno, Cal., and Mrs. Fred C. Alexander of Yosemite national park, Cal. One daughter, Mrs. Edna P. Love, is deceased. Two granddaughters, June and Donna Alexander of Yosemite national park, Cal., also survive. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of the Perl Funeral home Wednesday at 10 a.m., Rev. Sherman L. Divine, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, officiating. Burial will take place in Modesto, Cal.
