Kurtz. Medford (Oregon) Mail, Friday, 13 Apr 1900, Additional Local Items, p. 6, c. 3: Mrs. Geo. Kurtz accompanied the remains of her little daughter home from Portland last Friday, and funeral services were conducted by Judge Cromwell at the family residence, on North C street, on Saturday. These sorrowing parents have the deepest sympathy of all Medford people in their hour of grief. Especially does grief of this kind affect the hearts of parents who have the little tots about their knees–-to make happy all there is in life worth living for.
