KONKEL, William Claybourne, Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, Tuesday, 22
Aug 1939, p. 8: The remains of little William Claybourne Konkel, infant son of
Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Konkel of 924 Summit avenue, who passed away in
Portland Sunday, will arrive here Wednesday morning and services will be held
at the Conger chapel at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. James Hamilton of
the First Christian church officiating. Interment will be made in the Siskiyou
Memorial Park. Besides the parents, there is left one other child, LaVelle
Konkel, and three grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Anderson of California and
D. M. Konkel of Idaho.
