KNOWLES, Alma Ruth (Warner), Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune,
Thursday, 31 Oct 1929 -- Alma Ruth Knowles, wife of George M.
Knowles, passed away at their home one mile west of Medford at
12:15 a.m. Thursday. Mrs. Knowles had been in failing health for
the past year. She was born in Washington, April 23, 1893. Aged 36
years. In 1914 she was married at Medford, Oregon, to George M.
Knowles, immediately after which they moved to Texas where they
resided for four years, then came back to Jackson county where
they have since resided.

Besides her husband, she leaves five children, Henry, Warner,
Edna, Roy and George Knowles, all at home. Also her mother, Mrs.
Mary Warner of Trail and four sisters and three brothers, Fred J.
Warner, Mrs. Lou L. Dawson, Mrs. Mary C. Fry, Mrs. Hazel
Cushman, Ray Warner, John Warner and Mrs. Katie Ash, all of
Trail.

Funeral services in care of Conger Funeral Parlors, will be held at
the Nazarene church on North Central at 11 a.m. Saturday.
Interment will be in Trail cemetery. Mrs. Knowles was a member of
the church of the Nazarene.
