The funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Weeks & McGowan chapel. The Masons and G. A. R. will have charge and Rev. J. C. Rollins will officiate. The burial will be in the Odd Fellows' cemetery at Jacksonville. Mr. Klippel who was 78 years old and a bachelor is survived by a number of nephews and nieces in Portland and Medford. He had resided in Medford for 10 years and for 35 years in Oregon. He enlisted for three years at Springfield, Ill., July 25, 1861, in Co. I, Seventh Illinois Infantry. In December, 1863, he re-enlisted and served until the war's end, when he was mustered out as corporal.
