Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, Monday, 5 Nov 1917, p. 6, c. 2
Benjamin E. Hull died at his home, 932 North Central avenue, Sunday, Nov. 4, 
at 12:50 a. m., aged 81 years, 9 months and 13 days. He was a native of 
Lafayette, Indiana, and came to Medford from Perry City, Iowa, six years ago. 
Mr. Hull was a member of Chester A. Arthur Post, G. A. R., and served during 
the Civil war in Company D. 9th Ia. Infantry. He is survived by his wife, 
Rhoda, and three children, who are Fred W. Hull and Miss Leona Hull of 
Medford, and W. H. Hull of Grants Pass. Funeral services will be held at 
Perl’s chapel, Tuesday, Nov. 6th, at 3:30 p. m. Chester A. Arthur Post, G. A. 
R. will be in charge of the services. Burial will be in the I. O. O. F. 
cemetery.
