Lex Hubbard, 60, a member of one of Southern Oregon’s best known pioneer 
families, died this afternoon at the Sacred Heart Hospital, following two 
major operations, the last one of which was performed last week. Mr. Hubbard 
is survived by his widow and four children, Hazel, Alice, Raymond and Adaline, 
all of this city, and a sister, Mrs. J. B. Slocum of Los Angeles, and three 
brothers, Fort Hubbard, Otis Hubbard and A. C. Hubbard of Medford. A complete 
obituary and funeral arrangements will be announced later from the Perl 
Funeral Parlors.
