Houston, Phoenix, passed away in Grant's Pass late Wednesday evening. She had been ill but a short time and her death was unexpected. She was born at Beagle on December 25, 1896, and lived her entire life in Jackson county. She moved from Central Point to their home on the Pioneer road, near Phoenix, in 1926. Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters at home, Mrs. Carmen Hust and Gloria Jean; her mother, Mrs. Susan Raimey, Central Point; and two sisters, Mrs. F. E. Miller, Central Point, and Mrs. J. B. Hanna, Shady Cove. Services will be held in Conger Chapel at 1 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Ward Rice officiating. Interment will be in the family plot in the Central Point cemetery.
