He was alone in his place of business when the seizure came, and walked to the end of the building to summon aid. Klamath Falls (Oregon) Evening Herald, Saturday, 13 Dec 1930, p. 3 FUNERAL NOTICES Merle Houston, aged 46 years, 9 months, 6 days, husband of Beryl Hardenbrook Houston, passed away suddenly at the residence, 933 High street, yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock, having been ill but about six hours. Mr. Houston was born in Leadville, Colo., coming to Klamath Falls with his parents when he was 6 years of age. In addition to his wife, Beryl, he is survived by one son, Robert V.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. V. Houston, and one sister, Mrs. J. H. Carnahan, all of this city, and one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Haines, of Orlando, Fla.
