Mr. Hooker was born in Mound City, Kas., September 1, 1866. He came to Oregon at the age of fifteen. In 1888 he met Nettie McBee at Heppner, Oregon, and was united in marriage March 5, 1888. To this union were born two sons and two daughters. Mr. Hooker is survived by his wife of Medford, one son, Earl Hooker, of Caldwell, Idaho. The daughters, Mrs. John Schwartz of American Falls, Idaho, and Mrs. Leila Lounder, of Medford, one sister Mrs. E. A. Fredenburg of Medford, and one brother W. A. Hooker, of Medford. Also five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Perl Funeral home Wednesday at 2 p. m. The Rev. R. W. Coleman of the Christian church will officiate, and interment will be in Medford I.
