Henry Holst, resident of Jackson County for 56 years, passed away Thursday at 
his home in Sams Valley. Mr. Holst was 92 years of age. Mr. Holst leaves to 
mourn his passing, one daughter, Mrs. Alina Schulz, of Sams Valley and one 
son, John D. Holst, of Roseburg. He also leaves eight grandchildren and 17 
great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Perl Funeral home 
Monday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Harry Young of St. Peters Lutheran church will 
officiate and interment will be in Sams Valley cemetery.
