Frederick Charles Hoffman, 57, a native son of Southern Oregon, passed away in 
Chiloquin yesterday. Mr. Hoffman was born on the Applegate January 1, 1891. He 
had lived on the Applegate until about four years ago, at which time he went 
to Klamath county. He was a farmer by occupation and served in the first world 
war. He is survived by his father, George and one brother, J. R., of the 
Applegate; two sisters, Mrs. Bess Ballard, Weed, Calif., and Mrs. E. M. 
Jordan, Sacramento. Funeral services will be conducted from the Perl Funeral 
home Saturday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Sherman L. Divine officiating. Interment 
will take place in Jacksonville Cemetery.
