Ella Grace Hill, beloved daughter of H. L. and A. Hill, departed this life June 29, 1897, aged 8 years, nine months and four days, after an illness of three weeks. All her relatives except one sister, Mrs. L. Bramlet, of Redding, California, were present at her death. She was a kind and loving daughter and sister, and was beloved by all who knew her. Rest, dear loved sister, in the arms of Jesus, Rest from sorrow, pain and care The night has passed and the morning breaketh. And thy soul shall heaven's blessings share. Rest, sister, thy hands are clasped upon they breast-- Our last kiss is on thy brow. And in our aching heart we know We have no darling Ella now. Rest, dear sister, we will meet thee, In the land where all tears shall be wiped away; Where there's no more death, no grief, no parting But all one happy eternal day. Sister Mary Trail, Oregon
