O. Sanden home in Jacksonville, was discovered dead shortly after noon today by Roger Card and Lois Sanden when they came home from school for lunch. The coroner's office said death was apparently caused by a heart attack. Mrs. Hildreth was found on the floor of the Washroom and had been dead about two hours, the coroner's office reported. Relatives were being notified today by the Perl Funeral parlor, and a complete obituary will be published later. Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, Wednesday, 2 Oct 1940, p. 4, c. 5 LOLA HILDRETH RITES THURSDAY Lola Mable Hildreth, a native daughter of Oregon, born at Wilhelmina on February 22, 1876, and having lived in this state all of her life, and for the past 55 years in southern Oregon, passed away suddenly near her home in Jacksonville on September 30. She was united in marriage to Buel Hildreth at Ashland in 1900. They immediately moved to the Butte Falls district where they took up a homestead, and later lived in the town of Butte Falls. After the death of her husband in 1928, she moved to Jacksonville, where she has lived since. Mrs. Hildreth leaves a host of friends to mourn her departure. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Charles Ackerland, of San Francisco, and Mrs. William Okell of Los Angeles, Calif., two brothers, J. H. Fendall, of Hayward, Calif., and E. L. Fendall of Burlingame, Calif. Her father, aged 90, also survives and lives in Jacksonville. Funeral services will be conducted from Perl Funeral home Thursday at 10 a.m., Rev. D. E. Millard officiating. Interment will take place in the family plot in Central Point cemetery.
