E. Higinbotham of near Gold Hill, passed away Saturday afternoon in this city where he was brought for medical treatment about two months ago. Death came as a result of complications from pneumonia. Deceased was born in Jackson county in 1906 and was aged 15 years, nine months and five days. He was well known in school circles where he attended at Gold Hill. He leaves besides his bereaved parents, two sisters and four brothers, Ruby W., Ilamay, Wayne, Glenn, Clair, and Dale, all of Gold Hill. The funeral services were held this afternoon at the chapel of Weeks-Conger Co., Rev. King of the Nazarene church officiating. Pallbearers were selected from the students of Gold Hill school. Interment in Central Point cemetery.
