D. Rickert on Capitol Hill east of Medford, April 24, age 12:50 noon, aged 13 years, 10 months, 17 days. He was born at Wilcox, Saskatchewan, Canada, June 7, 1911, and had resided in this city for the past ten years, being the oldest son, a fine character, loved by all who knew him. Raymond was in his freshman year in high school and a member of the Baptist church. He is survived by his parents, one brother and three sisters, Roger and Belle Headlee of Medford; Mrs. Allie Perkins, Springfield, Ore., and Mrs. Bessie Wallace, Eugene, Ore. Large for his age he was usually taken for a lad of more mature years. He was intensely interested in outdoor sports; trained for the junior high football and baseball teams, and will be remembered by many of the members of the Golf Club as "Ray," who caddied for them, and the chum of "Woodie" Archer. The funeral services will be held at the Perl Funeral Home, Sunday at 4 p.m., Rev. E. P. Lawrence and Rev. Leach, officiating. Interment in Medford I.O.O.F. cemetery.
