Vern Earl Hayward, 60, passed away at the family home on Route 4 Sunday 
evening. Mr. Hayward was born at Eaton Rapids, Mich., July 13, 1883. He spent 
his early life in the east, and was united in marriage to Miss Mildred Wilbur 
at Shelton, Wash., in 1904. Five children were born to this union, Glen 
Hayward, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Christobell Beam, Galt, Calif.; Mrs. Bonnie 
Dasher, Clearwater, Wash.; Mrs. Ila Beam, Medford, and Clarence Hayward at 
home. Other survivors include one sister, Mrs. Maude Jarrett of Yucaipa, 
Calif., also nine grandchildren, who survive with their mother, Mrs. Mildred 
Hayward. Funeral services will be conducted from the graveside in Brownsboro 
cemetery Wednesday at 2 p. m., Elder G. A. Thompson of the Seventh Day 
Adventist church officiating. Perl Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
