Died--At Central Point, Ore., Monday, March 26, 1917, Frank B. Hatfield, of 
typhoid fever, age 24 years and nine months. He was a bookkeeper in the 
Central Point bank and a resident of this section ten years. He is survived by 
his parents and one brother. The funeral services will be held from the family 
residence Tuesday at 2:30 p. m., the Rev. Bandy officiating. Interment in 
Medford I.O.O.F. cemetery.

Friday, 30 Mar 1917, p. 4, c. 1: Frank Beaty Hatfield, cashier Central Point 
bank, died at his parents home, Central Point, Monday, March 26 after a 
month's illness of typhoid fever, aged 24 years, 9 months. Funeral was held 
Tuesday, interment Medford cemetery. He was born at Great Falls, Montana, June 
26, 1892, came to Central Point with his parents 10 years ago, graduating from 
the local high school in 1911. After a year's employment with Cranfill and 
Robnett he studied two years at Albany college, entering the bank in 1915. His 
ability and capacity procured rapid advancement, while his pleasing 
personality secured him a large circle of friends who mourn his untimely 
departure. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. Hatfield and by a 
brother, Clifford.

Monday, 2 Apr 1917, Central Point Items, p. 7, c. 4: The funeral of the late 
Frank B. Hatfield was the largest seen in Central Point for many years, and 
all our people deplore his early demise, and extend their most heartfelt 
sympathy to the bereaved family.
