Ellen Hartman died at Sacred Heart hospital December 31 from Diabetis [sic], 
aged 25 years, 5 months, 13 days. She was born at Eagle Point, Ore., July 18, 
1899, the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jasten Hartman of Jacksonville, and 
lived all her life in Jackson county. She was a member of the Methodist church 
and Ruth Rebekah lodge of Jacksonville. She leaves her parents, Mr. and Mrs. 
Jaston Hartman, also three brothers, Wesley H., Loyal H., and Homer Hartman. 
The funeral services will be held at the Methodist church in Jacksonville 
Saturday at 2 p. m. Interment in Jacksonville cemetery. Funeral arrangements 
in charge of the Perl Funeral home.
