HANNAH, Sedotha Stanley, Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, Monday, 17 Feb 1913, Along Rogue River, p. 5: Died at the family home Feb. 11, 1913, Mrs. Joseph Hannah, aged 58 years. Mrs. Hannah was sick only a week but no hopes for recovery had been held from the first. She was a native of Missouri and came here to the valley when quite young with her parents, the late Dr. and Mrs. Stanley of Gold Hill. She was married to Joseph Hannah in 1879 and five children came to brighten their home, four of whom survive her. She was a loving mother, a kind friend and a faithful neighbor. She was loved by all who knew her. She was laid to rest Thursday in the Antioch cemetery, Rev. Richards officiating. There were many friends gathered to take the last look of their dear friend. She leaves an aged husband, two sons, Jasper and Joe, two daughters, Mrs. Tim Daily and Miss Mirna Hannah besides many friends to mourn her loss. Among those from a distance to attend the funeral of Mrs. Hannah were Mrs. P. H. Daily and Mr. Daily of Medford and Riley Morrison and two daughters, Mrs. Tom Wyatt and Mrs. Frank Fitzgerald of Sam's Valley. Mrs. Charles Sherman and Mrs. P. H. Daily are spending a few days at the Hannah home.
