Mrs. Grant was born at Red Bluff, Calif., on June 11, 1883. They formerly lived at Bend before coming to southern Oregon. Maude B. Barnhart was united in marriage to Walter A. Grant at San Jose, Calif., June 3, 1908. Mrs. Grant is past matron of the Bend chapter, Order of Eastern Star, and a member of Central Point chapter. She is also a member of the Grange and Presbyterian church at Central Point. Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Donald B. Grant of Alameda, Calif., also one sister, Mrs. Pearl Grundeland, Seattle, Wash. Funeral services will be held at the Perl Funeral Home Saturday at 2 p.m. The Rev. R. H. Hansen of Central Point Presbyterian church will officiate and interment will be in Siskiyou Memorial Park.
