She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Gordon, of Prospect precinct, this county. Her brothers and sisters were constantly by her bedside through the weary days of suffering. She leaves many friends to mourn her loss, besides mother, father, six brothers and five sisters, who have the sympathy of many friends in this their sad bereavement. This was the first death in the family of twelve grown children. She was on her road home from a visit in California, and was so ill on reaching here, that she could not go any further. The tired hands are folded, the weary feet have touched the mystic shores of the great unknown. No more for her will the storm clouds gather to darken life's fair day.
