Gorden, 85, a resident of Medford for the past 75 years, passed away at a local hospital early Sunday. Mr. Gorden was born at Decatur, Iowa, on August 25, 1858. He spent the last several years living with his six children. His wife passed away December 10, 1920. He is survived by six children: Mrs. Clara Wilhite, Eagle Point; Mrs. Milly Glass, Medford; Mrs. Bessie Case, Gold Hill; Mrs. Ollie Walker, Eagle Point; Mrs. Mattie Rodgers, Butte Falls, and Sam Gorden, Seattle, Wash., also two brothers, Robert Gorden, Fort Klamath, Ore., and Uriah Gorden, Trail, Ore., and three sisters, Miss Clara Gorden, Mrs. Addie Vincent, Trail, and Mrs. Jane Vincent, Alturas, Calif. Funeral services will be conducted from the Perl Funeral home Tuesday at 2 p. m., with Miss Cora Harton officiating. Interment will be in the Central Point cemetery.
