She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, M. H. Gorden and the following daughters: Mrs. Charence Wilhite of Sams Valley, Ore., Mrs. Elbert Glass, Mrs. Earl Case, Miss Ollie Gorden and one son Samuel Gorden of Beagle, Ore., and daughter, Mrs. James Rogers of Medford, Ore. Also two sisters, Mrs. Mary E. Merriman and Mrs. Eleanor Maule, and one brother, William Murray of Medford, Ore., and George W. Murray of Hanaford, Cal. Sara Murray Gorden was born in Stephenson County, Illinois in 1863 and came with her parents to Oregon when a small child in 1871 settling on the Murray ranch three miles north of Medford where she lived until she was married, being loved and honored by all who knew her, always a pleasant and kind word for everyone. Funeral services will be held at Antioch and burial in the Antioch cemetery and 2 o'clock Monday, Dec. 13, 1920.
