O. O. F. cemetery, under the auspices of Gold Hill lodge No. 129. He was a member of North Star lodge, No. 61, of Weaverville, Calif. Mr. Goldsworthy was born in Cornwall, England, in 1835, and came to this country when a small boy, with his parents. He has been a resident of Rogue river valley for over thirty years, engaging principally in mining during that time. He was one of the original owners of the noted Black Channel placer mines on Foots creek, and leaves considerable property.
