A. GLASS, VALLEY RESIDENT, PASSES SUDDENLY Theodore A. Glass, a resident of Central Point most of his life, and well known to a host of friends, passed away at his home very suddenly on Monday morning at 11:20. He had been feeling fine, and his death comes as a great shock to his many friends. Mr. Glass was born in Fairview, Texas, Feb. 27, 1877, and was 64 years old. He came to Oregon with his parents in 1888. They first settled in Beagle, Ore., and he has lived continuously in Central Point for the past 14 years. He was united in marriage to Miss Anzonetta V. Case at Sam's Valley, Ore., on Aug. 24, 1899. He was a Past Master of Masonic Lodge No. 135 of Central Point, also a past Worthy Patron of the Eastern Star of Central Point, a member of the Central Point Oddfellows lodge, the Modern Woodmen of America and an associate member of the local Selective Service Board No. 2. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Anzonetta V. Glass of Central Point; four children, T. [-?-] Hilton of Central Point, W. Randolph Glass and Mrs. Lloyd W. Smylie of Medford; three sisters, Mrs. L. A. Askew of Medford, Mrs. R. DeArmond of Sam's Valley, Mrs. Olive Dean of Central Point, and a brother, Jesse E. Glass of Brownsboro, Ore., and nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from the Perl Funeral home on Wednesday afternoon at 3:30, Rev. D. E. Millard officiating. Central Point Lodge No. 135, A. F. & A. M. will also have their services at the parlors. Interment will take place in the Siskiyou Memorial Park. Selective service headquarters of boards No. 1 and No. 2 will close during the funeral ceremony as a mark of respect.
