Gilham, 80, a resident of Oregon for the past 75 years, and of Medford for 17 years, passed away Wednesday morning at the family home, 511 South Central avenue. Mrs. Gilham was born at Sacramento, Calif., December 17, 1863. Her husband, Phillip Gilham, passed away December 1, 1935. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church, and leaves a host of friends to mourn her departure. Survivors include one son, George P. Gilham, Medford; four grandchildren, Mrs. Robert Peters, Los Angeles, Calif.; James Gilham, in the navy at Farragut, Ida.; Milvin Gilham, Woodburn, Ore.; also two sisters, Miss Emma Higgins, Portland, and Mrs. Lin Clymer, Salem; and one brother, George S. Higgins, Salem. Funeral services will be conducted from the Perl Funeral Home on Monday at 2 p.m., Elder G. A. Thompson of the Seventh Day Adventist church officiating. Interment will be in Jacksonville cemetery.
