C. Gall died Monday, November 5th, at 2 a. m. at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Isora Hodges in this city. Mr. Gall was a pioneer of southern Oregon, knowing almost every spot in the county. He is survived by ten children, three sons and seven daughters. They are Elam, Albert and Ellis, all of Jacksonville; Isora (Mrs. Hodges), of this city; Minnie (Mrs. Rowe), and Dora (Mrs. Collis), both of California; Cora (Mrs. Hargrave) of Montana; Anna (Mrs. William Myers) of Ashland; Ardella (Mrs. Newland) of Roseburg; Carrie (Mrs. Smith) of Pilot Rock. The services were very impressive and were conducted by Rev. Samuel March of Central Point. Music was furnished by a mixed quartet. Interment was at Sams Valley in the family burying plot.
