Mrs. Furry was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Milo Caton, pioneer residents of Oregon. When Mrs. Furry was two years old, she, her mother, brothers and sisters traveled from New York city to Panama on Old Ironsides (The Constitution). They crossed the isthmus and completed their trip to Red Bluff by boat. Surviving are six children, Frederick Milo, Robert S., and Raymond A., Phoenix; Lee L., [-?-], California; Mrs. Forrest Reames, Medford, and Mrs. J. H. Alexander, Portland, 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Furry was a charter member of Oak Circle No. 242, Phoenix, and an active member in church and social affairs. Funeral services will be held in the Conger-Morris chapel Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. D. E. Millard officiating. Interment will be in Phoenix cemetery, beside her husband, who passed away in 1930.
