Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, 1 Nov 1917, p. 2, c. 4
Lucinda Schearer Fridegar, at orchard home, one mile southwest of this city 
[Medford], at 9 o’clock Wednesday night, Oct. 31. The deceased was born July 3 
1840 in Fairfield county, Ohio, and was 77  years 3 months and 28 days old at 
the time she passed away. On November 21, 1861 she was married to Frederick 
Fridegar who preceded her to the great beyond April 14, 1914. One son, 
William, with his wife and son Gilbert Adolph and other relatives remain to 
mourn the loss as also do one brother and two sisters who live in Ohio. 
Funeral services will be held at Weeks & McGowan’s chapel on Friday at 2 p. m. 
Rev. J. C. Rollins of the M. E. church will conduct the services and interment 
will be in I. O. O. F. cemetery.
