FREDENBURG - At Medford, March 18, 1901, Susannah, wife of A. J. Fredenburg, a native of Kentucky; age 65 years. THE MEDFORD MAIL - March 22, 1901: City Happenings Mrs. Susan T. Fredenburg, wife of A. J. Fredenburg, of this city, died at the family residence Monday evening, of pneumonia, after an illness of three days. Mrs. Fredenburg was one of the pioneer residents of Medford, having located with her family in this city over seventeen years ago. She was sixty-nine years of age. She leaves a husband and a family of eight grown children, all married, to mourn her demise. The funeral services were held at the residence Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Crandall, pastor of the Baptist Church, officiating. Interment was made in the Odd Fellows cemetery, the remains being followed to their last resting place by a large concourse of sorrowing friends. The bereaved family has the heartfelt sympathy of the community in their loss.
