SAMUEL JESSE FREDENBURG, Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, Monday,
September 22, 1958:

Samuel J. Fredenburg, 81, of Gold Hill, who had been living in
Jacksonville died Sept. 20 in a local hospital. Mr. Fredenburg,
who was born in Gold Hill, has no known surviving immediate
relatives. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Perl Funeral
home, Medford.  

Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, Tuesday, Sept. 23, 1958:
Funeral services for Samuel Jesse Fredenburg who died Saturday,
will be held at the Rock Point cemetery at Gold Hill on Wednesday
at 2 p.m. The Rev. William C. Piper of the First Christian Church
will officiate. No known relatives survive.  Perl funeral home is
in charge of the services.
