JAMES ISAAC FREDENBURG

Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, about June 12, 1917: Died at the
residence of his nephew, James Leslie, on West Main Street,
Medford, Oregon, Saturday, June 9, at 11:45 a.m., James I.
Fredenburg of Sam's Valley. Aged 59 years, 5 months and 1 day.

Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, about June 14, 1917: 
James Isaac Fredenburg died at the home of his nephew, James
Leslie, Jacksonville Road, Saturday, June 9. He was born in
Missouri, January 8, 1958. Came to Oregon, 1864. Resided in the
Willamette Valley many years, coming to Jackson county 1881.
Since that time he has made his home in Jackson County, except
about five years in eastern Oregon.

He leaves to mourn his loss, three brothers, four sisters and
seven children, John L. and R. M. Fredenburg of Sam's Valley,
Oregon; Mrs. Nellie Engle of Fort Klamath; Bertha, Jessie and
Bessie of Sam's Valley. The funeral services were held at the
grave at Sam's Valley cemetery at 2 p.m., Monday, Rev. F. W.
Carstens officiating.
