Funeral services for John L. Fredenburg, 81, of Route 2, Box 410, Gold Hill, 
who died Monday, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Perl Funeral home. 
The Rev. Bernard Andrews, pastor of the First Baptist Church, will officiate. 
Interment will be in Memory Gardens Memorial Park. Mr. Fredenburg was born 
Dec. 30, 1884, near Tolo, Ore. He has lived all of his life in the Sams Valley 
area. On Dec. 26, 1915 in Sams Valley, he was united in marriage to Hazel 
Clark Silver, who survives. Additional survivors include, one son, George J. 
Fredenburg, Gold Hill; two daughters, Mrs. Barbara King, Gold Hill, and Mrs. 
Jean Patton, Medford; three sisters, Mrs. Jessie Pomeroy, Emmett, Idaho; Mrs. 
Nellie Jain, Medford, and Miss Bertha Fredenburg, Medford, and four 
grandchildren. Casket bearers will include, Earl Peffley, Wes McDonough, Burle 
Burreson, Paul Schulz, Dale Schulz and H. E. Baldwin.
