Rezin D. Foster died at the home of his son in Medford on Tuesday, aged
ninety years, one month and twenty-seven days. Mr. Foster was a native of
Howard county, Missouri, and came to Oregon in the early forties. He was an
Indian war veteran, and fought in the Cayuse war of 1847-48. The funeral
took place Thursday afternoon. Services were conducted by Rev. C. H. Hoxie.
